You will be sent clear written instructions, the postcode AND the what3words location ahead of arrival. Note that the postcode is not enough to get you to our parking area as this one postcode covers all the properties all over the estate. Using what3words is the most reliable app for accuracy. The w3w for our parking is https://what3words.com/pranced.candidate.clip (note you can drive all the way there, follow the track to the exact spot!)
Do please get in touch and ask. You’re welcome to if it is possible – it usually depends on previous bookings and the cleaning team.
Please get in touch if you are bringing a dog (or dogs). We are very doggy friendly but we like to prepare for your arrival.
We are sorry we cannot accommodate cats or other pets.
We would prefer you didn’t as each cabin is only powered by the solar panels you see in the field in front of your cabin. However we do understand if you have come to a wedding at Cambo you may want to use such devices. Please keep them on a low temperature and keep their use to a minimum.
The HideAway and the Bothy are powered by the solar panels you will see in the field. There is no mains electricity. Because of this we have been very careful in thinking about the interiors and what is available. By only giving one plug socket we ask you to be mindful when plugging in to charge or use devices. We also provide USB points next to the plug. Please don’t leave things charging overnight – this uses power needlessly.
Absolutely. We will try to accommodate you if we can. Just ask.
We do not currently have wifi in either cabin. We really encourage our guests to switch off and enjoy a digital detox. However the closest wifi is in the Café which is in the building next to where you will park your car.
Yes, we provide eco towels and organic 100% linen bedding. All are from UK companies that are certified B Corps.
Supermarket vans might struggle to access our parking area and we do prefer to support small and local. Why not consider The Ardross Farm Shop who are located only a few miles away? They can even arrange to deliver your order to you and have an expansive range of local produce for you to choose from.
Yes, we provide a generous supply of seasoned wood for the stove and firepit. We also provide a starter amount of kindling and eco firelighters.
